A foundational bond, built together
Béatrice and Anne-Sophie grew up together. In their story, there are few women, but their bond has become essential, almost foundational. A relationship built on closeness, sharing, and a certain self-evidence: understanding each other by taking the time to clarify things.
When faced with adversity, they have the same reactions, the same words. As if, over time, their ways of thinking and reacting had gently aligned.

Transmitting strength to learn to be free
From the outset, Béatrice had a strong intention as a mother: to prepare her daughter for life. She wanted to arm her, to give her the resources to move forward alone, with solidity. Very early on, she instilled in her autonomy, with the idea that one needs no one to move forward: enabling Anne-Sophie to fend for herself as early as possible. Anne-Sophie, for her part, grew up observing this strength. What she admires most in her mother is her determination. This ability to move forward no matter what, remaining upright and true to herself. A woman who, in positive moments as well as in trials, remains mistress of her own destiny.

Words as heritage and as repair
Over time, their relationship evolved, enriched, transformed. Today, Anne-Sophie also supports her mother, opens her up to new things, leads her to experiences she might not have dared to live alone. Their bond has balanced, without ever losing its depth. Between them, communication plays a central role. They have always taken the time to exchange, to clarify things, to understand what is happening. This need to speak also comes from a personal history: Béatrice suffered from the weight of unspoken words in her own childhood. She therefore made a different choice. To speak things. To express love. To let nothing settle in silence.
The "I love yous" always had their place. For Béatrice, there were never too many. And even today, these words circulate naturally between them.
In this relationship built on words, Anne-Sophie learned to put words to feelings: to understand, to read emotions, to adjust, to accompany. Béatrice is particularly proud of this, especially seeing her daughter find the right words with her grandfather. Like a visible transmission.

Balancing, transmitting... and choosing oneself
There is a discreet but essential learning between them: understanding without rushing, feeling without invading, speaking without hurting. Today, Béatrice feels it gently. After giving so much, transmitting so much, the time has come for her to refocus. To think of herself. To take for herself the time and attention she has long offered to others.
"It's time," says Anne-Sophie, her daughter, for her mother Béatrice to take this precious time for herself.
